Dear PS/MS 114 Families,
It is with great excitement and deep gratitude that I welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year! I am honored to serve as the Interim Acting Principal of PS/MS 114 and to continue working with this incredible community of students, families, and educators.
Many of you know me from my previous role as Assistant Principal, a position I held with pride and dedication. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know our students and families, supporting our amazing staff, and contributing to the school’s strong foundation. I am truly humbled by the opportunity to step into this new leadership role and build on the work we’ve accomplished together.
At PS/MS 114, our mission is to ensure that every student receives a high-quality education in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. As we begin this school year, my priorities remain clear: fostering joyful learning, promoting academic excellence, supporting student well-being, and strengthening our partnerships with families.
Our dedicated staff has been hard at work, thoughtfully preparing for a smooth and successful start to the school year. From preparing classrooms to planning rigorous and engaging instruction, we are focused on making sure your children feel welcomed, supported, and inspired from day one.
The first day of school is Thursday, September 4th, and we can’t wait to see your children back in our school, ready to learn and grow. I also invite you to join us for Meet the Teacher Night on Wednesday, September 10th, an important opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, learn more about grade-level expectations, and connect with our school community.
